Released in May 2019 this phone seems to be a sandwich between its bigger brother Redmi Note 7 pro and younger brother Redmi Note 7 and this phone has a lot going for it which makes it one of the best mobile phones under 10000 price segment.

Design:

Redmi Note 7S has a glass sandwich design with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and the back. This gives the phone a premium look and feels which are rare at this price point. It comes with a 6.3-inch dot notch IPS LCD display With full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) resolution and has a maximum brightness of 450nits. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, type C port, a Hybrid slim slot, P2i coating for splash resistance, and an IR blaster as a cherry on top.

Performance:

Redmi Note 7S is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and Adreno 512 GPU and this could be its greatest week point. Don’t get me wrong its buttery smooth on a day to day tasks but it shows up it’s an old chip when you run demanding titles like PUBG or other games and 3GB RAM is also quite a bottleneck while Multi-Tasking. If gaming at high frames is your primary concern lookout for other phones that we have covered.

Camera:

Redmi Note 7S has a 48-megapixel Samsung Iso-cell GM1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 1.6-micron pixel size. The second camera is a 5-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the Redmi Note 7S has a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera is excellent both at the back and front and is the best below 10K price segment. The 48 MP primary shooter takes a picture of 12MP by pixel binning by default and the colors, dynamic range, sharpness is excellent, best in the class, I would say.

Low light photos are also the best in class and video quality is good too. This phone also comes with excellent GCAM support with Camera2api enabled out of the box. If you don’t want wide-angle, telephoto, or macro (None of this is good at this price point!) this is the camera phone to go for.

Battery:

Redmi Note 7S comes with a 4000 MAH battery with support for Qualcomm QC 4.0 (charger not included in the box) and MIUI aggressive battery management means, battery life shouldn’t be a concern.

Cons:

If you can live with MIUI ads, 3GB RAM, and 32 GB storage Variant and not get angry for not including faster charger in the box, there is nothing much-going wrong for it! This will be one of the best mobile phones under 10000 price segment and will be hard to beat in 2020!

Both the phones Realme 5 and 5i are targeted to take on the Redmi Phones under the 10k segment. But did they do well? did they become the best mobile phones under 10000 price segment? The only difference being Realme 5 offers better selfie camera (13 MP) when compared to Realme 5i (8MP), But Realme 5i offers 4/64 GB option for the same price of 3/32 GB option of Realme 5. Choose based on Your priorities!

Design:

Realme 5 / 5i sadly comes with a polycarbonate body (plastic body) with a crystalline pattern that creates patterns by reflecting light. It also features a lower  6.5-inch HD+ (720×1600 pixels) resolution IPS LCD display with 270pi pixel density and it’s noticeable especially if u were using a 1080p display before! It also comes with the corning gorilla glass 3 protection and Micro USB port and compared to Redmi Note 7S its feel’s in every way that it’s a budget phone.

Performance:

Realme 5 / 5i is powered by the much better Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC and Adreno 610GPU. It’s buttery smooth on a day to day tasks and handles demanding titles like PUBG or other games pretty well thanks to the better chipset and lower-resolution display But 3GB RAM is quite a bottleneck while Multi-Tasking. Overall a solid performer

Camera:

Realme 5 / 5i comes with a 12MP primary sensor (Sony – IMX 386).  it has 1.25µm pixels and sits behind the f/1.8 lens. There is a 119-degree ultra-wide camera which is an 8MP shooter and one 2MP macro lens and one 2MP depth sensor. Ignoring the two 2MP sensors ( they are pretty useless) 12MP shooter takes good photos, not the sharpest or detailed, and photos feel ok thanks to its IMX 386 sensor released in July 2016 ( U can’t expect more from a 4-year-old sensor)

8MP wide-angle shooter is also just okay. If you are on Realme 5 it’s a 13MP shooter that takes good selfies in well-lit conditions but Realme 5i has a lower 8MP shooter and doesn’t fare that well. Overall this camera is a jack of all but master of none!

Battery:

Realme 5 / 5i comes with a 5000 MAH battery with no support for a quick charge. It takes nearly 3 HR to fully charge the battery but it can easily last you for 2 days on moderate use again because of more power-efficient chip and lower-resolution display.

Cons:

There are lot’s of the corner that is cut here to achieve this price point, display, plastic build, gorilla glass 3, okay camera, micro USB and now with ads on color OS this phone is a hard recommendation But since there are not a lot of choices under 10K segment and you don’t like Redmi Phones for whatever reason this one is a worthy consideration as allrounder phone. hence we have given a position for it for the best mobile phones under 10000.

So if u like this add on features then buy the Narzo 10A else simply go for C3 and save 500 Bucks. Design:

Realme C3 / Narzo 10A is a clean white/blue plastic body at the back with a striking Realme logo at the back. There are no fancy light reflections here. Also, no plastic cover is included in the box. To the front, we have  6.5-inch HD 720×1600-pixel  IPS LCD panel withdrew drop notch. We get a 3.5 mm audio jack with a micro USB port. considering the price nothing much to complain here.

Performance:

Realme C3 / Narzo 10A is powered by MediaTek Helio G70 processor, and Realme touts its “ultimate gaming performance” but it’s just a gaming chip and we experienced minor stutters while playing PUBG. But this is a very good chip at the day to day tasks and u will not notice any performance issue here. 3GB RAM will hold you back if you multitask. Overall a good performer considering the price.

Camera:

Realme C3 / Narzo 10A comes with 12 MP primary sensor that takes good photos in daylight and suffers in low light terribly. 2MP Macro lens is pretty useless as the photos have bad quality and are barely useable. It’s better if you take a photo with a primary shooter and zoom-in. 2MP depth sensor helps in portrait mode shots. Overall this is not the phone If you are a camera lover.

Battery:

Realme C3 / Narzo 10A comes with a 5000 MAH battery with no support for a quick charge. It takes nearly 3 HR to fully charge the battery but the chipset is a power-hungry monster, so don’t expect 2 days of battery life. It has got a reverse wired charging but you need to buy the OTG adapter separately.

Cons:

There are lots of corners that are cut here to achieve this price point, display, plastic build, okay camera, micro USB, and now with ads on color OS, this phone is a hard recommendation. If you are in the market for a gaming phone and don’t worry much about anything else on the phone this is the cheapest phone you can get! Nokia 6.1 Plus was launched in Sep 2018 at a starting price of 16,999 but now it’s a 2-year-old phone and price has dropped to 9,499 so is it best mobile phones under 10000 price segment? Let’s find out!

Design:

Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with 5.8-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080 pixels) with a 19:9 aspect ratio with gorilla glass 3 protection at front and back. The display is vivid and punchy and has very good brightness outdoors. There is a Type-C port with a 3.5mm audio jack for good sound. This is the most stunningly designed phone below 10k as of now and the only phone to feature this premium build and display apart from Redmi Note 7 series.

Performance:

Nokia 6.1 plus being a 3-year-old phone is definitely way below in the performance. It comes with a Snapdragon 636 chipset and is good for day to day use and gaming at low frames but 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage help’s it a bit. Overall a decent performer. But a huge Bonus is the User experience here! It’s a part of the Android one project and u get a clean Stock android with a Guaranteed update to Android 10.

Camera:

Nokia 6.1 Plus has a 16-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0, along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.4. Images had a good amount of detail in good lighting conditions. Low-light performance was above average. on the front, we have a 16-megapixel camera that takes good selfies. Overall a decent camera.

Battery:

Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a 3,060mAh battery which is decent and also supports QUALCOMM QC 4.0. Overall battery life is decent.

Cons:

There are not a lot of corners cut here as it was originally launched around 17K, Design is premium, you get a good display but if you are not a heavy gamer or a photographer ( As performance and cameras are not that capable) You should be going for this phone. Stock Android is Just a Cherry on the Top! For all the stock android lovers this is one of the best mobile phones under 10000 price segment!

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 packs a solid punch with a host of features for the price point and is definitely trying hard to be the best phone under 10k! But can it really be the phone of choice for best mobile phones under 10000 price segment? let’s find out!

Design:

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 introduces a glass-like design to the back with “dynamic optical finish” and looks premium. To the front, we have an even more surprise! We get a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. This is the only phone sub 20k to sport a gorilla glass 6 protection. This also comes with a triple-slot which means a dedicated SD card slot that is expandable up to 2TB, The output from speaker as well as the headphone jack is also good. The only thing I didn’t like is Micro USB instead of Type C. It would have made it the perfect phone!

Performance:

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Its buttery smooth in day to day performance thanks to its efficient chip and Stock Android. On heavy games like PUBG, it takes a small hit but its barely noticeable! Overall this phone is a solid performer

Camera:

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a 12MP Sony IMX486 primary camera with f/1.8 aperture coupled with a 5MP depth sensor. It’s a solid performer on daylight but at low light camera struggles with a lot of Noise! On the front, we have a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. Selfies are good at daylight and a low light problem of noise comes back. Overall a decent camera!

Battery:

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes with a 5000mAh battery and combined with stock Android this phone can easily take you through the mid of the second day. No fast charging support which is quite a hit as we have a large capacity battery that takes around 3 hrs to charge.

Cons:

There are not a lot of con’s here. Asus has done a great job of putting together a value phone for the average consumer! If you can live up with slow charging speeds and average camera this phone is a great buy!

Frankly, we went through every phone before writing this review. We didn’t consider the Infinix brand as its fairly new to the market and we don’t have hands-on experience with the brand and the quality of parts used for longevity! Samsung was not our choice as their low-end Exynos chipsets tend to lag a lot after 10 to 14 months of usage and we don’t want that experience for anyone purchasing a phone from here. Motorola and Honor failed to offer any phones that are competitive. We have picked a few 2-year-old phones like Nokia 6.1 plus as after the price cut, they are a great value for money when compared to newer phones like Redmi 8!

Best Mobile Phones Under 10000 – Gaming phone: Realme Narzo 10A would be our recommendation and Realme 5i as a second phone of Choice.

Best Mobile Phones Under 10000  – Camera phone: Redmi Note 7S would be our phone of choice, but if you want a wide range of camera arrays like wide-angle, macro, etc… Realme 5 is recommended.

Best Mobile Phones Under 10000 – Display: Nokia 6.1 Plus would be our Phone of choice along with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Redmi Note 7S. (All 3 are equally good).

Best Mobile Phones Under 10000  – Stock Android: Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is our phone of choice and Nokia 6.1 Plus as a second recommendation.
